Multiplyher is built by women, for women, and your trust matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Who we are
Multiplyher is operated by Lisa Barber and her team. Our website is https://multiplyher.com.au and our dashboard application is at app.multiplyher.com.au. You can reach us at hello@multiplyher.com.au.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to give you a beautiful, useful experience:
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (encrypted) when you create an account.
- Financial data you choose to enter: the assets, liabilities, income, expenses, goals and notes you input into your dashboard. This is yours. We never sell or share it.
- Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number â only confirmation that a payment succeeded.
- Usage data: basic information about how you use the site (pages visited, features used) so we can keep improving it.
- Communication: if you email us, we keep the email so we can help you.
How we use your information
- To provide and improve the Multiplyher service.
- To process your subscription and send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, important account notices).
- To respond to your questions and provide support.
- To send occasional updates about new features and education (you can unsubscribe any time).
- To comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your financial data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Who we share your data with
We use trusted third-party services to run Multiplyher, and only share what’s needed to deliver the service:
- Stripe — processes payments and stores billing details. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Supabase — secure database hosting where your account and dashboard data live. Supabase Privacy Policy
- Vercel — hosts our application. Vercel Privacy Policy
- Email service providers — to deliver transactional and (where you’ve opted in) educational emails.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some parts of the site may not work as well without them.
Data security
Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. Our database has row-level security so only your account can read your data. We take security seriously — but no system is perfect, and we’ll always be honest with you if anything ever goes wrong.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data while your account is active. If you cancel and ask us to delete your data, we’ll do so within 30 days, except where we’re required to retain certain records (like billing) for tax purposes.
Your rights
Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that’s inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your account and data.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
- Make a complaint — first to us, and if unresolved, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@multiplyher.com.au.
Children
Multiplyher is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, please let us know and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll email you directly.
